Generally it can be said, that before you take a package, inspect it concerning damage of the packaging itself before you confirm the reception. If you happen to discover any damage after receiving the goods, please email your company data and phone number to: support@battery-direct.eu. We will then contact you to settle the details.

What can I do to prevent overheat damage?
The lifespan of a lead acid battery is depending e.g. on the temperature of its environment. Desirable are 20 degrees Celsius. The following points should be taken note of: -19’’ Rack-UPS-units should be mounted at the absolute bottom of the cabinet –Fan should operate at the top of the cabinet and ensure optimum air circulation from top to bottom. –Take care of sufficient air ventilation of the room, in which the UPS is operating. Should this not suffice, air conditioning is recommended. To the top
How do I prevent deep discharge or drain of the battery?
Depending on the battery type, deep discharge is taking place at a block voltage of under 9V-12,5V.
The following points should help to prevent this:
-Do not store the battery for more than 6 months without charging it.
-Adjust the laying to not force the UPS to its capacity maximum
-Install UPS monitoring software to make sure all parameters are working correctly. To the top
Will the batteries in a UPS be discharged completely in the case of a power outage?
No. In the case of a power outage and battery operation of the UPS, the battery will only be discharged to a certain predefined point for low battery warnings. The possible “LOW BATTERY” Values are 2, 5, 7 and 10 minutes while the default is at 2 minutes. To the Top
At which input voltage does the UPS enter battery mode?
The input voltage tolerance is between 188V and 280V and is on factory defaults set to the lower break point of 196V and upper break point 253V. Outside of this tolerance area, the UPS will automatically switch into battery mode, or in the case of extreme overvoltage it will shut down automatically. On constant low voltage or slight overvoltage, the adjusting of the predefined parameters is highly recommended to prevent unnecessary switching into battery mode. Also the risk to shorten the battery life drastically is avoided this way. To the Top
